Course Overview

The DaVinci Resolve Advanced course is a three-day training programme designed for experienced users who want to develop sophisticated editing, colour grading, audio, and post-production workflows. Delivered in small groups at our London training centre or online, the course provides a practical environment for working with complex projects, advanced finishing techniques, and professional delivery requirements.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop advanced editing and multicam skills, learning to manage complex multi-track timelines, revisions, multiple camera angles, and large projects efficiently. You’ll also explore advanced keyframe animation, speed ramps, retiming, layered effects, and reusable editing workflows, giving you greater control over the pace and visual treatment of your projects.

With expert guidance from experienced trainers, you’ll develop professional colour-grading workflows using structured node trees, qualifiers, Power Windows, tracking, creative looks, HDR, and colour management. You’ll also refine your Fairlight audio skills through advanced dialogue processing, dynamics, routing, automation, and final mixing. Additional training covers high-resolution media management, archiving, professional delivery, and Fusion integration for compositing and visual effects. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to manage demanding DaVinci Resolve projects from complex editing through to colour, audio, finishing, and final delivery.
