Blender Training: Beginner

A very approachable course

This was a really good introduction to Blender. Everything was explained clearly and the practical exercises helped me remember the different tools and techniques. I now feel comfortable opening Blender and starting a project rather than feeling completely lost.

Finally made sense of Blender

I’d tried learning Blender from videos online but kept getting stuck. Having someone explain the tools and workflow properly made a huge difference. By the end I could model simple objects, add materials, set up lights and produce a finished render.

Really useful introduction to 3D

The course helped me understand the fundamentals of creating objects and scenes in Blender. I particularly liked working with materials and lighting because it showed me how much difference they can make to a final image. I’m looking forward to developing my 3D skills further.

I was creating things by the end

Having never worked with Blender, I was surprised by how much I could create by the end of the course. The exercises covered the basics of modelling, materials, lighting and animation without rushing through anything. I now have a much better understanding of the 3D workflow.

Great for getting into 3D content

I wanted to add some simple 3D elements to my social media content and this course was a great starting point. I learned how to model basic objects, animate them and create simple rendered scenes. There was plenty of opportunity to practise as we went along.

A solid foundation in 3D

I found the course really useful for understanding how Blender works as a 3D tool. James covered modelling, materials, lighting and rendering in a way that was easy to follow. I’m now confident enough to start building my own architectural scenes.

A really practical way to learn

Exactly what I needed

I wanted to learn enough Blender to create some basic 3D content for marketing projects. The course covered exactly what I needed, including modelling, materials, cameras and simple animation. I can now create things myself rather than relying on stock 3D assets.

A great introduction to Blender

I’d never used Blender before, so I was expecting quite a steep learning curve. The course made the basics much easier to understand, from navigating the interface and creating objects to simple modelling, materials and lighting. I’m now able to build and render my own small 3D projects.
