Hue/Saturation Adjustment in Photoshop 20/10/2015
Notice something strange about this cat?.. Yes? Its eyes have mismatched colours! And this is not the edited version - it is real! These cats are known as Van Cats, taking their names from the eastern city of modern Turkey. Now let's see how we can match this amazing creature's eye colours (not that it needs matching colours!) using the Hue/Saturation Adjustment in Adobe Photoshop in 2 simple steps. First, we select the eye that we want to change the colour of. The quickest way to do this is by using the Quick Selection Tool. The hint is in the name. Secondly, we apply the Hue/Saturation adjustment to the selection by using the Adjustments menu within the Image menu. The shortcut for this is CTRL (CMD on a Mac) + U After pressing the "Colorize" button, we tweak the sliders until the colours match. And voila! The colour of our cat's eyes now match!
